19.3.3 Querying DR media

When you are ready to move the DR media off-site, you can check the status of
the tapes using query drmedia. Query drmedia lists all DR volumes, including
those that should be moved off-site.
Example 19-19 shows the output of the query libvolume and query drmedia
commands. Specifying the state as MOUNTABLE ensures that only DR media in
the library will be displayed.

Example 19-19 shows how to tell which volumes are database backups. The
query libvol output lists the database backups as 033AKK, 034AKK, and
037AKK. Therefore, the other DR media are copy pool tapes (032AKK and
