Retrieves iDRAC configuration parameters individually, or
all iDRAC configuration groups may be retrieved and
saved to a file.
racadm getconfig -f <filename>
racadm getconfig -g <groupName> [-i
<index>]
racadm getconfig -u <username>
racadm getconfig -h
racadm getconfig -g <groupName> -o
<objectName>
[-i index]
<filename> option directs getconfig to
-f — The -f
write the entire iDRAC configuration to a
configuration file. This file can be used for batch
configuration operations using the config
subcommand.
<groupName> , or group option, can
-g — The -g
be used to display the configuration for a single
group. The groupName is the name for the group
used in the racadm.cfg files. If the group is an
indexed group, use the -i option.
-h — The -h, or help option, displays a list of all
available configuration groups in alphabetical
order. This option is useful when you do not have
exact group names.
<index> , or index option, is valid only
-i — The -i
for indexed groups and can be used to specify a
unique group. The
from 1 through n, where n can vary from 1 to
maximum number of indexes a particular group
<index> is not specified, a value of 1
supports. If -i
is assumed for groups, which are tables that have
multiple entries. The index is specified by the
named value.
index value, not a
<objectname> or object option
-o — The -o
specifies the object name that is used in the
query. This option is optional and can be used
with the -g option.
<username> , or user name option,
-u — The -u
can be used to display the configuration for the
specified user. The
name for the user.
-v — The -v option displays additional details with
the display of the properties and is used with the -
g option.
This subcommand generates error output upon
encountering either of the following:
Invalid syntax, group name, object name, index, or
other invalid database members
RACADM CLI transport failures
<index> is a decimal integer
<username> option is the login
