Installing printer software from the SuperScript 1450
Solutions CD is quick and easy. Basically you just need to
insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and follow the
prompts on your screen. You can even view Quick Reference
video clips with just a click of a button. Make sure all
applications are closed on your PC before installation then
choose between Easy/Local, Easy Network, or Custom
installations.

Quick Reference Video
•
PCL6 printer driver
•
PostScript 3 Printer Driver
•
SuperScript 1450 Status Monitor (not available for
Windows NT)
•
Remote Control Panel (for DOS users)
•
USB printer port
•
Digital "online" versions of the SuperScript 1450 User's
Guide and the SuperScript 1450 Network User's Guide
•
Adobe Acrobat Reader
note:
If you have the SuperScript 1450 model and want
to use the PostScript printer driver, you must order the
NEC PostScript Level 3 Upgrade Kit (Order No. 1402). See
Chapter 8, "Printer Options, " for more information.

Place the "SuperScript 1450 Solutions CD" in your CD
ROM drive.
2.
If the installer does not launch automatically, select Run
from the Start menu and type x:\cdsetup.exe in the
Open dialog box (where x is your CD ROM drive
number). Then click OK.

If the Windows New
Hardware Found dialog box
appears during installation,
click Cancel.
