Paper Jams in the Engine Area

note:
Paper jams in this area may result in loose toner
on the page. If you get any toner on your clothes, wash
them in cold water because hot water will set the toner
into the fabric.
1.
Open the Top Cover
(A)
2.
Remove the Toner Cartridge
Caution!
To prevent damage to the Toner Cartridge,
do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes.
Place a piece of paper over the top of the Toner Cartridge
to shield it while it is out of the printer.

Carefully lift up the guide feed
4.
Gently pull the paper toward you to remove it from the
printer
.

5. Flip down the guide feed
6.
Reinstall the Toner Cartridge
note:
If the Toner Cartridge is difficult to reinstall, make
sure the guide feed has been flipped back down into
position.
7.
Close the Top Cover to resume printing
note:
If the
Paper
there is still jammed paper inside the printer. Check the
input area and the inside of the printer.
