Command Operation during Abnormal Conditions
1.
If the command does not conform to the required syntax the following is displayed:
Command Failed - the command does not conform to the required syntax,
SYNTAX where SYNTAX is the command syntax as described under Command Syntax in this
section.

If the password does not meet the defined requirements, display the following:
Command Failed - The password must be 1 character in length minim
and 24 characters in length maximum characters max and can only
contain upper, lower case letters, numbers and the following symbols
! @ # $ % ^ & *.
3.
If the account description is too long, display the following:
Command Failed

4.
If the label is the same as an existing account, display the following:
Command Failed - account ACCOUNT already exists where ACCOUNT is the
string labeling the account.

$ accounts add Joe_Operator level operator password F00tB*ll F00tB*ll
desc "performs backups for engineering group"

Notes
The standard factory or restore image contains the following accounts: "admin" with password
"admin" and "administrator" authority level. This allows initial access to the CLI and GUI. This
account can be modified or deleted as any other account.
This command cannot be used to create accounts with HP Support authority. The HP support account
is always part of the StoreOnce appliance image. It cannot be modified by the customer. Any
modification would require a change to StoreOnce appliance image.
TBD Should password change requirements feature be provided. i.e. time duration on passwords,
change requirements (must be different from last password.) (Reduced command set placed no
constraints on password strings or duration.)
TBD Should non-ASCII characters be supported in the string. (Reduced command set only needs
to support ASCII characters.

This command deletes an existing account.

accounts del ACCOUNT

Command Object Requirements
ACCOUNT – a string matching the label of an existing account must appear after "accounts del"
in the command entry.
Command Parameter Requirements
Not Applicable – no parameter values exist within this command.
