If the command does not conform to the required syntax, the following is displayed:

this section.

Description of Command Function
This command provides a method to modify the parameters of a client certificate which has
previously been created with the "catalyst create client" command entry.
Command Syntax
catalyst create client [SETX] [OBJECT] <CLIENT> passphrase <"passphrase"> <"passphrase">
allow-create {yes|no}(default = no)

Command Object Requirements
The following objects listed below may be included in the command entry after "catalyst modify
client".
SETX – This defines the service set in which the client resides. This object is required in the
command entry when used on multi-node StoreOnce appliances. SETX is a label which uniquely
defines the service set. X is a numeric index. The command entry "catalyst show client" can
be used to obtain a detailed listing of client certificates and the associated service sets within
the appliance. Refer to section 3.4.16 for details.
CLIENT – This represents the client certificate with is to be modified. This object is defined
with a unique text string label. The command entry "catalyst show client" can be used to obtain
a detailed listing of client certificates within the appliance. Refer to section 3.4.16 for details.
Command Parameter Requirements
The following parameters may be included in the command entry and appear after the objects:
passphrase – This parameter defines the passphrase which is used to confirm identity. This
parameter consists of the word "passphrase" followed by an ASCII character text string
enclosed in quotations. To ensure accuracy, an identical text string in quotations must be exist
after the first string.
Allow-create – This parameter defines if the client is allowed to create object store containers.
