Variable Speed Search 1
Press PLAY to start playback.
Press PLAY again.
Rotate the JOG KEY to adjust the
playback speed.
• Rotate JOG KEY downward for
forward playback.
• Rotate JOG KEY upward for reverse
playback.
To return to normal playback:
Press PLAY, Playback will continue at
normal speed.
,_The Variable Speed Search function offers
a choice of six playback speeds (1/5x, lx,
2x, 5x, 10x, 20×) both in forward and
reverse directions.
o The review playback at the lx speed is
playback in reverse direction.
During the Variable Speed Search (at a
speed other than lx), mosaic-like patterns
will appear in the picture.
o During the Variable Speed Search, sound
is muted.
F E rward/Rewind Check
Monitor normal picture playback during fast
forward or rewind.
o Hold down FAST FORWARD/SEARCH
during fast forward.
o Hold down REWIND/SEARCH during
rewind.
o The picture will appear for as long as the
button is held down.
