The printer prints on (or too far away from) the perforation of
your continuous paper.
Cause
The tear-off position is set
incorrectly.
The paper size setting in your
application or the printer
driver may not match the size
of the paper you are using.
The printer's page length
setting may not match the
size of the paper you are
using.
The printer does not eject your continuous paper properly.
Cause
You may be trying to feed too
much paper backward.
Your paper may be too long
or too short.
The paper size setting in your
application or the printer
driver may not match the size
of the paper you are using.

Troubleshooting
What to do
Adjust the tear-off position using the d
or u button. See "Adjusting the
tear-off position" on page 3-39.
Check the paper size setting in your
application or the printer driver.
Check the "Page Tractor" setting using
SelecType or the EPSON Remote!
utility. See "SelecType" on page 4-8, or
"Using the printer utilities" on page
2-22.
What to do
If you are using normal continuous
paper, tear off the last printed page
and press the Load/Eject button to
feed the paper backward. If you are
using labels, tear off the paper entering
the printer, and then press the LF/FF
button to feed the labels forward.
Make sure the page length of your
paper is within the specified range. See
the continuous paper specifications on
page A-5.
Check the paper size setting in your
application or the printer driver.
