Next, we make a copy of the supplied Exit. We modify the Exit so it copies the
received file instead of submitting it to InfoPrint Manager using pdpr. The Exit
must use the first passed parameter as the name of the resource file and the third
passed parameter to derive the target resource file name, because the DCF mapped
it that way. Since we did not pass the desired resource directory name in the JCL,
the Exit needs to determine the drive and directory and pre-pend it to the target
resource file name. Since this Exit will only be used on a receiver that receives AFP
resources, it does not need to identify the file as an AFP resource and have a paths
for both copying resources and submitting non-resources to InfoPrint Manager to
be printed. The Exit can also be coded to detect and react to error situations as
appropriate.
Lastly, we use the Management Console to create the receiver that will use the
DCF and Exit that we created. In this example, the Target Destination that we
specify when we create the receiver is irrelevant and will only be passed to the
Exit if no NAME is specified in the JCL that submitted the resource.

Submitting multiple data set jobs

MVS Download and AFP Download Plus send each JES SYSOUT data set
separately to the MVS Download receiver on Windows. By default, the receiver
spools each data set as a separate file. On MVS, a job can contain multiple data
sets. Use this procedure to customize your installation for MVS Download multiple
data set job support, so that the data sets in a job sent to InfoPrint Manager
through MVS Download print in sequence, with no intervening files, no NPRO
processing between files, and only one header and trailer page for the set.
InfoPrint Manager now enables multiple data sets to be received, individually
transformed by ACIF into MO:DCA-P, and then combined into a single file and
spooled. InfoPrint Manager uses the medium maps (copy groups) from the form
definition that is associated with each data set to build a comprehensive inline
form definition that it inserts at the beginning of the combined file.
Use these procedures to install and configure MVS Download support for printing
multiple data set jobs.

Requirements to use multiple data set support
To support the printing of multiple data sets in a job as a single unit using MVS
Download, you must:
v Install a special MVS Download user exit 15 program on MVS.
v Create a MVS Download Receiver on your InfoPrint Manager system with
parallel processing turned off.
To support the printing of multiple data sets in a job as a single unit using AFP
Download Plus, you must:
v Install AFP Download Plus with APAR OA15317.
v Set the dataset-grouping parameter in the control statement data set to Yes.
v Create an MVS Download Receiver on your InfoPrint Manager system with
parallel processing turned off.
