Downloading the Console or Client Software

from the HP Web Site

If you download the software from the HP web site, for HP Vectra PCs,

HP Kayak PC Workstations and HP OmniBooks, there is only one

executable program that is required. The size of this program is

approximately 5MB. To download the TopTools software, proceed as

follows:

1 Click http://www.hp.com/go/manageability.

2 The HP TopTools page is displayed. Select the required hardware

and click "Download".

HP TopTools is a powerful integrated solution for the

management of HP desktop PCs, PC Workstations, Notebooks, and

NetServers, as well as standards-based devices from other vendors.

3 In the Registration page, select register your name and other details,

and then go to the version of TopTools that you want to download.

4 Download the software into a temporary directory (which you may

need to create) on your PC, for example, C:\TEMP.
