NOTE
3 Under the lines:
COMCFG
DFS$
add a new line:
<return>
BIOS
(if the BIOS files are residing under \BIOS)
OK
Registry>EXIT (saving changes)
The results should be entirely equivalent to those using the
REGEDIT utility.
When you share a directory that contains files for flashing the BIOS
(under Windows NT), you must put two zeros (00) between the
hexadecimal name of the preceding directory and the directory you are
sharing, and four zeros (00 00) to signify the end of the shared
directories.
4 Close the registry editor program and restart the server.
For the moment, under Windows 95, flashing the BIOS is only supported
on HP Vectra PCs and HP Kayak PC Workstations. It may be expected
that some of the future HP OmniBook models will be able to support
flashing of the BIOS.
