1. From the Geocaches Page, highlight the geocache you want to view.
2. Press ENTER to view the geocache details.
3. Highlight View and press ENTER.
To View/Edit Geocache Details
Find the geocache you want to view/edit using the Geocache Page or Find search (see To Find a
Geocache on page 38).
Typically, you will not need to edit geocache details. If you want to update geocache details, you
can use the same steps as to update waypoint details. For more information, see To View/Edit
Waypoint Details on page 47.
Notes:
• If you edit a geocache symbol, be aware that any changes may affect where the geocache is
stored. For example, if you choose a waypoint symbol, the geocache will move to the Way
points Page and if you change a symbol from a not logged to a logged symbol type, it will move
from the Show Not Logged to the Show Logged list. For a list of symbols, see Appendix C on
page 87.
• You cannot edit geocache comment details for geocaches with cache IDs (those transferred to
the device using the Send to GPS option).
• Changes you make to the geocache details on your device do not update information on
Geocaching.com.
To Create a Route to a Geocache
1. View the Geocache Detail page for the geocache to which you want to navigate.
2. Highlight Drive to Cache (for a road route) or Hike to Cache (for a direct route) and press
ENTER. Routes to geocaches are not saved on the device.
Note: To change the route type, see To Change Route Options on page 48.
To View Comment Details
• From the Geocache Detail page, press MENU, highlight View Comment Details, and press
ENTER.
• When navigating, from any default page (except the Satellites Page), press MENU, highlight
