move the number up or down. Press ENTER when finished.
• To change the date and time when you added the waypoint, to highlight the Time/Date field
and press ENTER. Then, highlight the number in the time/date information you want to change.
Use the arrow keypad to move the number up or down. Press ENTER when finished.
• To add or change comments for the waypoint, highlight the Comments field and press
ENTER. Highlight Edit Comment Details and press ENTER. Use the keyboard to enter your
text. Then, highlight OK and press ENTER.
To view comment details for the waypoint if they are larger than the display, highlight the

Comments field and press ENTER. Highlight View Comment Details and press ENTER.
You can also press MENU, highlight View Comment Details and press ENTER. Also see, To
View Comment Details When Navigating below.
Your edits are automatically saved. Press QUIT to return to the Waypoints Page.
To Create a Route to a Waypoint
1. View the Waypoint Detail page for the waypoint to which you want to navigate.
2. To create a route to the waypoint from your current GPS location, highlight Route and press
ENTER. Then, on the Route Detail page, highlight Navigate and press ENTER to calculate the
route.
To View Comment Details When Navigating
When navigating, the View Comment Details option displays the comment for the waypoint or
geocache to which you are navigating.
Note: If you view the comment details for another waypoint or geocache while navigating, View
Comment Details displays the most recent comment details viewed.
1. From the Waypoint Page, press MENU.
2. Highlight View Comment Details and press ENTER.
To Change Route Options
When navigating, use Route Options to stop navigating, get back on track, or switch the route type.
For more information about route options, see To Edit the Route Settings on page 60.
