Registration Roller Assembly A (PL 5.1.22) and
Drive Gear (PL 5.1.26)
1. Remove the Transfer Unit.
2.
Remove the Rear Shield Plate (see pg. 6-146).
3.
Remove the MPT Pick Assembly (see pg. 6-140).
4. Remove the ATS Anvil (see pg. 6-176).
5. Remove the 4 B screws securing the Registration Roller Assembly A.
6. Lift the roller assembly and remove.
Note: If replacing the Drive Gear, continue with Step 7.
7. Remove the E-ring securing the drive gear to the back end of the Registration
Roller Assembly.
8. Remove the Drive Gear.
Caution: When reinstalling the Drive Gear, ensure it drives the
roller in the direction of paper travel. The blue plastic face
should face the outside, next to the E-ring.
Note: The ATS Anvil and 4-Sheet Calibration Procedures, (see
pg. 4-118), need to be performed after reinstalling.
