Defining SNMP Access rights are managed by defining communities in the SNMP Add
Communities and Page. When the community names are changed, access rights are also
Traps changed. SNMP communities are defined only for SNMP V1 and SNMP
V2c.
Filters that determine whether traps are sent to specific users, and the
trap type sent can also be configured on the SNMP Add Page.
Monitor users have no access to this page.
To define SNMP communities:
1 Click Administration > SNMP > SNMP Add. The SNMP Add Page
opens:
