You can use your printer to perform a variety of tasks. Your printer can perform tasks with or without a connection to a computer.
 If the printer is connected to a computer, you can use either the printer operator panel or the printer software to produce quality documents.

 You do not need to connect your printer to a computer to print, copy, and scan. Printing without computer is through card slot or PictBridge port only.
