Selecting the Printer Settings

Access Memory Card, refer to Formatting a Memory Card on page 2-31.

The display will returns to the Printer
menu screen and the machine enter
a waiting for data state.

Transmit the data from PC.
When data is received from a PC, the message Processing data appears. Once the
operation is finished, Waiting is displayed.

Press [GO].
This writes the file to the memory card and instructs the printer to automatically print out a
memory card write information page as shown below.
The file is written onto the memory card given a destination name (also referred to as a
partition name) which the printer automatically assigns one after another as follows:
DataS001 (first data), DataS002 (second data), DataS003 (third data)...

After the write information page is printed, the display returns to the Printer menu screen.
Reading Data
Reads the selected data, program data, font data, and macro data from the memory card.

Select [Data], [Program], [Font], or
[Macro] under Read area.
