Accessing the
Embedded SNMP
Agent

Read the information in the window.
Select one of the following options:
- Closes all offenses in the database.

Soft Clean
Hard Clean - Closes all active SIM data including offenses, targets and
•
attackers.
If you wish to continue, select the Are you sure you want to reset the data
model? check box.
Click Proceed.
A message appears indicating that the SIM reset process has started. This
process may take several minutes, depending on the amount of data in your
system.
Once the SIM reset process is complete, reset your browser.
Note: If you attempt to navigate to other areas of the user interface during the SIM
reset process, an error message appears.
To access the SNMP agent:
In the Administration Console, click the System Configuration tab.
The System Configuration panel appears.
Click the System Management icon.
The System Management window appears.
In the View Agent column, click View Agent for the SNMP agent you wish to
access.
