Time characteristics
Two conditions must be fulfilled (AND): E1 must be active and E2 must trigger on leading edge. This only
takes place at t1 (the dotted line to the left). If the signal on E1 goes Off (dotted line to the right), output A will
also be reset.
It is assumed that the channel set as output A is configured for a "toggle switch function", for example. This
function only needs one impulse to execute the switching function. A "push button function" would release
again immediately.

3.3.3. Using flags

Dupline offer flags, with which the intermediate results of logic setups can be "stored" in order to be used in
other setups.
Characteristics
The flags are on the channels W1..8, X1..8, Y1..8 and Z1..8.
The flags are initialized for zero upon voltage application at the Master Generator.
The flags are not stored upon voltage failure at the Master Generator.
Flags basically operate in the same way as the "Push button function", ie the value of the flags changes
immediately with the result of the logic setup. Only edge triggering is not possible with flags.
Application
If a channel is to be related to more than two other channels, flags help to organize the setup. The following
example illustrates how channels A1, A2 and A3 are organized and assigned to B1:
Output
W1
B1
In most objects in the matrix, eg the decentral roller blind Up-Down function, flags can be used in stead of
channels. In this way, it is possible to have priority control functions, which are related to several channel sta-
tuses.
Note: Flags used in this way may only be used once in the logic function.

3.3.4. Internal processing of the logic setups

The Master Generator processes the setups from block 1 to block 8, and within each block from top to bot-
tom.

3.4. Notes and Documentation

For later documentation of the logic setups, it is useful to add comments in the field "Notes". When the logic
setups are later printed out, the notes appear next to the individual rows so that each individual function is
commented on.
