Enclosure View is Unavailable
If the system is unable to communicate with a drive enclosure or its drives, a
message notifies you that there is an invalid enclosure or drive configuration, or that
the display of drives by enclosure is unavailable.
In this situation the drive information is displayed in list format without enclosure
information instead of in graphical format. This can occur for the following reasons:
A drive has been recently added or removed, and the data reported by the
individual drives has not yet been fully synchronized with the configuration data
reported by the EMP.
All paths to the enclosure have been disconnected.
Enclosure polling has been suspended (the rate is set to zero), which can be done
only by a service technician.
In these situations, there might be a short period where the displayed information is
unpredictable. However, the display corrects itself once the environment stabilizes.
