3.4 Unpacking the DRM-5004X
The DRM-5004X and its accessories are shipped in two boxes. Box
one contains the DRM-5004X unit and its accessories. Box two con-
tains the disc magazines and their accessories. See Figure 3-1,
Packing of the DRM-5004X.
3.4.1 Accessory List
The DRM-5004X has several accessories that are not attached directly
to the unit during shipping. They are, however, shipped in the same
box as the unit. These accessories are:
1 Power Cord
1 Conversion Plug
1 SCSI Bus Terminator
1 Door Key
NOTE: Return the Warranty Registration Card immediately! In the
event the unit needs service, customers with unregistered units will
experience service delays.
The disc magazines are shipped with five shipping plates in a second
box. See Figure 3-2, Accessories Shipped with the DRM-5004X.

3.4.2 Unpacking the DRM-5004X and Accessories

Remove the DRM-5004X and the accessories from the box and confirm
that all of the accessories listed in Section 3.4.1 Accessory List are
included. If any of the accessories are missing, contact your vendor.
1. Check the boxes for damage. If there are signs of damage
contact shipper or Service.
2. Unpack the DRM-5004X changer from box 1 and inspect the
unit for shipping related damage. If there is damage, contact
shipper or Service.
3. Unpack the magazines from box 2 and inspect the unit for
shipping related damage. If there is damage, contact shipper
or Service.
4. Confirm that all the accessories are included with the unit. If
any are missing, Dealers/Integrators should call Pioneer New
Media Technologies, Inc. End users, contact the vendor.
5. Save boxes and packing materials for future use.
