Receiving a Fax When the Machine is Out of Paper
Incoming fax transmissions are automatically stored in memory
under the following conditions:
• The WorkCentre 480cx is out of paper
• A paper jam occurs
• A document is copying
• A document is printing
After receiving documents, the machine displays MEMORY
RECEIVED and the cause. For example, NO PAPER.
When the condition is cleared, for example by loading new paper
or clearing a jam, the machine will automatically print the fax
stored in memory.
If you clear the problem while the machine is receiving documents
into memory, it will print the stored document immediately upon
clearing the problem.
