High Power Mode
The following figure illustrates how to connect the Paging Amplifier and Loudspeaker Amplifier and
(Two Speakers)
use the amplified outputs in high power mode to two speakers or horns.
Note: You can use an
802.3at compliance
switch or an 802.3at
power injector and hub.
802.3at Compliant
PoE Ethernet Switch
(sold separately)
or
802.3at PoE Injector

Cat 5 Ethernet Cable
*Note: 16 gauge (AWG) wiring is recommended.
If the speaker will be routed outside, then CyberData
suggests using CL2 or CL3 certified wiring.

wiring, the maximum recommended
length of the wiring to each horn should
be 25 feet or less from the amplifier.
Twist wire nuts
Note: The IP66 Analog Horn (011471) comes with a 3.28 foot cable,
which can be connected directly to the amplifier. If the wiring is
greater than 3.28 feet, then it is suggested to use solder and heat
shrink tubing to fasten the additional wires. Twist wire nuts can be
used as an alternative if it is protected sufficiently.
