COOLING SYSTEM INSPECTION

Your ATV is equipped with a liquid-cooled engine which
provides an excellent balance of performance, longevity and
operating efficiency. Maintaining the fluid in the cooling system
is essential for proper engine life and performance.
Checking the fluid level in coolant reservoir:
1. Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir when the
engine is cold (as the coolant level will vary with engine
temperature). The coolant level should be between the
"FULL" and the "LOW" marks embossed on the side of the
reservoir.
2. If the fluid level is low, remove the reservoir cap and then
add coolant or distilled water to raise the fluid up to the
FULL mark.
Hard water or salt water is harmful to the engine. You may
use distilled water if you cannot get soft water.
Recommended Coolant Solution
