SPARK PLUG

The spark plug is an important engine component and is easy
to inspect. The condition of the spark plug can indicate the
condition or the engine and how well it is operating.
A light brown insulator indicates that the sparkplug is correct.
A very white center electrode porcelain color could indicate an
intake air leak or a fuel injection problem. Do not attempt to
diagnose such problems yourself. Instead, take your ATV to
your KYMCO dealer.
Before inspecting a spark plug, clean the area around the spark
plug to prevent dirt from the entering the engine when
removing or installing the spark plug.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
When installing the spark plug, always clean the spark plug's
gasket surface on the cylinder head and make sure the sealing
washer is fitted to the spark plug. Wipe any grime from the
threads before installation.
Hand threads the spark plug initially into the cylinder head so
you can be sure the threads are engaging properly. Then
tighten with a spark plug socket to the specified torque.
