DRIVE MODE SELECT LEVER

Drive mode selector lever
L - LOW range
N - Neutral
Before shifting, you must stop the ATV and return the
throttle lever to its fully closed position so the engine will
return to proper idle speed. If you do not do so, you may
damage the transmission.
Apply the rear brake and shift the drive mode select lever
into the position before turning off the engine when
parking on an incline. If you park on an incline with the
shift lever in H, L or R position, the weight of the vehicle
against the wheels will make it difficult to shift into neutral
(N). When parked on an incline, always engage the parking
brake before shifting the transmission.
PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
H - HIGH range
R - Reverse mode
SHIFTING: Neutral to HIGH, and HIGH to LOW
1. Bring the ATV to a complete stop and return the throttle
lever to the closed position.
2. Apply the brakes, and then shift by moving the select lever
along the shift guide to the desired drive mode.
 NOTE: Make sure the drive mode select lever is
completely shifted into position. The transmission may
not engage properly if the lever is not properly shifted
into place.
