Preparation

Excessive
water
pressure
deterioration of wheel bearings, brakes, engine and
transmission seals and electrical devices. Expensive repair
bills can result from high-pressure water and detergent
intrusion, which can be caused by a coin-operated car wash
or even a small, home-style pressure washer. Damage
caused by water intrusion of this type is not a defect, and
repairs are not covered by the KYMCO Limited Warranty.
KYMCO recommends the procedures listed on these pages to
prepare
your
ATV
recommendations will help you avoid deterioration of your ATV
from nonuse during an extended storage period. If you lack the
technical ability to prepare your ATV for storage, consult an
authorized KYMCO dealer about performing this service.
1. Change the engine oil.
2. Drain the fuel tank. Be sure to drain the fuel in a
well-ventilated area, not in a garage or similar structure.

HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Always refuel the ATV or handle fuel in a well-ventilated area
with the engine off. Do not smoke or allow open flames or
sparks in the area where the fuel is being handled.
Do not overfill the tank or the fuel storage container. Be careful
to not spill fuel when refueling or draining a fuel tank. After
refueling, make sure the fuel filler cap is closed properly and
securely.

If any fuel is spilled, make sure the area is dry before
starting an engine.
If you encounter any difficulty with your vehicle's fuel, seek
assistance from your KYMCO dealer.
 NOTE: If you do not drain the fuel tank completely, add
a fuel stabilizer to the fuel in the tank. See your KYMCO
dealer to obtain this additive.
