7. Put the element into a plastic bag. Pour air filter oil into the
bag and work the oil into the element.
8. Squeeze the element to remove excess oil.
9. Clean any dirt or debris from inside the air cleaner. Be sure
no dirt enters the carburetor.
10. Re-install the air filter and cover.
A torn air filter can cause damage to your ATV's engine.
Dirt and dust may get inside the engine if the element is
torn. Carefully examine the element for tears before and
after cleaning it. Replace the element with a new one if it is
torn or damaged in any way.
