■ Using the Intercom
The optional Intercom function enables you to communicate between the deck and the
cabin. The optional HM-195 commandmic
Intercom operation.
L Connect the HM-195 as described on page 99.
L Download the RS-M500 when you operate by the Android/iOS device.
NOTE: While using the Intercom function,
• Transmit is disabled.
• The received call audio is muted.
• Operation is disabled on devices other than the two that are using the Intercom function.
1.
Open the "Intercom" screen.
[MENU] > Intercom

Select the unit, then push [ENT] or [CH/ENT].
• Enters the Intercom mode.

Hold down
Call
• The transceiver and the command microphone, or the
mobile device sound beeps while holding down Call .
• "Call" is displayed.
4.
After releasing
the microphone at your normal voice level.
• " Talk" is displayed.
L To adjust the transceiver volume level, rotate [VOL].
L To adjust the command microphone's intercom
volume level, rotate [VOL/SQL] (Dial) on the
command microphone.
5.
After releasing [PTT], you can hear the response
through the speaker.
6.
Push [CLEAR] to return to the previous screen.
NOTE: While in the Intercom mode, the transmit and
receive functions are disabled. When the transceiver is
transmitting, the Intercom function is disabled.
