How to remove the humidifying tray and
humidifying filter unit
1.
Remove the water tank.
2.
Pull out the humidifying tray and remove
humidifying filter unit.

• If there is water inside, the water surface may shake and
spill, so pull it out slowly.
• When carrying, hold the base of the humidifying tray.

2 Push the humidifying tray all the way in
• If the humidifying filter unit is not properly attached to the
humidifying tray, the humidifying tray cannot be attached
to the unit.
Attention
After attaching the humidifying tray to the unit, do not forcibly
rotate the humidifying filter unit. Malfunction may result.

Install the water tank.

When dirty, the humidifying tray and humidifying filters may emit
bad odours. Be sure to clean them periodically.

About every 3 days or when
odour or dirt becomes an
issue, clean with water.
• Use a soft cloth, brush, or
cotton bud to clean hard-to-
reach places.
• For areas with water scales,
remove the water scales
with a soft cloth or brush or
cotton bud soaked in
lukewarm or room
temperature water in which
citric acid has been
dissolved.
When removing water
scales, be careful not to get the silver ion cartridge
wet. (The antibacterial effect may decrease.)
(Lift up the float and check that there are no water
scales under the float)
Finally, rinse with water.
• Citric acid may be purchased at a pharmacy or drug
store or super market.
Note
• Depending on water quality and the usage
environment, water in the humidifying tray may
become discoloured due to water scales etc. Clean it
also in such cases.
• Make sure that the float is not stuck in water scales.
(Water leakage may result if the float is stuck)
Attention
Silver ion cartridge
• Do not remove.
• Do not clean with baking
soda or citric acid.
Loss of the capacity for
slime-resistance will result.

Humidifying Operation will
become impossible.
If the float is detached from the tray
Insert the axle into the hole of the
tray
• Make sure the float is placed
below the tray protrusion.

• Pour water into the tray and check that the float rises.
• After checking, be sure to discard the water, then
attach the humidifying tray to the unit.
