How to remove the lid
1.
Bend the tank cover and release the hooks
(2 places) securing the lid.
2.
Lift the lid up toward you to remove it.
• Make sure to hold the water tank firmly.
How to attach the lid
1.
Push the front of the lid. (2 places)
2.
Push the back of the lid (2 places) and secure it to the
hooks.
• Make sure that the water tank lid is securely attached.
• Do not operate the unit without the water tank lid attached.
(May prevent water tank being attached to unit, or water leakage may result)
How to remove the rubber packing
• Remove the rubber packing from the recess on the back side
of the lid.
• Attach in the reverse order.
• After installing, run your hands around the perimeter to
check that there is no twisting or loosening and that it is
firmly fitted in the recessed part.
If metal filter detaches from water tank lid
1 Put on gloves.
(Rim of the metal filter could cut your hand)
2 Attach the metal filter from the top of the water
tank lid.

3 Affix it to the hooks (8 places) using a
rod-shaped object with a blunt tip.
(Deformation of the metal filter may result if a
sharp object is used.)

Be sure to stop operation and unplug the power supply plug before performing maintenance.
(An electric shock or injury may result)
If valve becomes detached from the water tank
1 Attach the spring to the valve rod.
(Be careful not to lose the spring.)

2 Insert the valve rod into the hole
in the base of the water tank from
the outside.
3 Slot the rubber valve on to
the inserted valve rod.
4 Turn the valve about half a turn
while pushing the valve rod from
below and check that the rubber
valve moves smoothly alone
(and not with the valve rod).
If it does not turn smoothly,
there is a chance that the valve
is out of place.
5 After attaching the valve,
fill the water tank with water and let it sit for a while (about 30 seconds)
to ensure there is no water leakage from the bottom of the tank.
