MIDI
The S-220 features the following three MIDI Con-
nectors.
MIDI THRU Connector
MID! OUT Connector
MIDI IN Connector
Connect the MIDI IN connector of the S-220 to the
MIDI OUT of the external device (e.g. MIDI key
board, MIDI sequencer). The S-220's sound will be
played by the external device.
Through this connector, messages such as Struc-
ture selection are transmitted.
* The MIDI OUT does not transmit the signal fed
into the MIDI IN.

* The MIDI THRU
connectors technically allow
you to connect many MIDI devices, but in prac-
tice, we recommend you use the optional MIDI
Output Selector MPU-105 for the connection of
more than three units.
