Set the Slack detection switch to ON.

Pull out the fabric and let it go slack until the orange light at the top of the slack detection sensor lights up.

Set the feeding roller switch to match the print surface.
Turn the switch to the left when printing on the inner side of the roll.
Turn the switch to the right when printing on the outer side of the roll.
