Confirm that there is no grease dripping on the bottom surface inside the maintenance cover (right).
If grease is dripping, wipe it off with a cleaning cloth.

From the Maintenance screen on the control panel, touch Maintenance - Adding Grease to the Scan
Spindle - Done, in that order.
The grease lubrication counter will be cleared.

Adding Grease to the Belt Cleaning Unit

If the grease on the moving parts of the belt cleaning unit is running low, it will be harder to pull out the unit. If the
unit becomes hard to pull out, follow the steps below to add grease as trying to pull it out by force may cause an
injury or malfunction to occur.
