Enabling a Channel Monitor
Monitoring an Unselected Channel (Inst. Mon)
Pressing the Inst. Mon button disables the coded squelch (PL) decoding for the
highlighted channel.
Monitoring the Selected Channel(s) (Mon)
Use Mon button to disable the coded squelch of the selected channel(s).
Changing the Channel Volume
Adjusting Channel Volume Level (Vol.)
The volume of a channel, relative to the other channels, is adjusted using the Vol. Adj.
button and the Function knob on the Audio Panel. Press the Vol. Adj. button and rotate
the Function knob to change the volume level for the highlighted channel.
The Vol.  and Vol.  buttons may also be used to increment and decrement the channel
volume without using the Function knob.
The percentage volume level is displayed in the channel module. The volume may be
increased or decreased in increments of three.
Selecting and Adjusting the Enhanced Volume Level (En Vol.)
The Enhanced Volume button temporarily sets the volume to a preset level. Typically, this
is used to boost the volume level of a channel temporarily. When the volume of a channel
is enhanced, the volume level indication blinks. The setting of the enhanced volume can
then be set using the Function knob or the "Vol." buttons. Pressing the En Vol. button a
second time returns the volume setting to the normal level.
Muting a Channel Volume Level (Mute)
Press the Mute button to reduce the channel audio volume to a preset value. Press the
Mute button again to return the volume to its original level.
Muting all Active Channels (All-Mute)
Pressing the All-Mute button causes all unselected channels to mute (be reduced in level).
When the mute is activated, all channel volume displays change to yellow with no volume
level value. At the same time, a countdown timer is started and displayed in the system
message area. The timer indicates the amount of time before the all-mute condition is
automatically removed. Pressing the All-Mute button again causes the mute to cancel.
When All-Mute is canceled or expired, if RDPS Recall Muted Channels option is enabled,
