Channel Status Regions
The Channel Status Region is a grid, six wide by six high, that displays up to 36 channel
status modules. Each status module contains ten fields of information on five lines as
shown in
Figure
MAP27 are described later in this document.)

The ten fields of information are described in the following paragraphs.
1. Channel Name: The channel name provides a descriptive title for the channel
module. When the channel is selected, the background color is green.
2. Call/Ring/Recorder Indication: When the channel is receiving audio, the word
"Call" displays in the field in red letters on a white background. When no audio is

This shows up to 36 channels with status (Channel Selector). When a channel is
highlighted, users may change channel parameters such as volume level. The large
icon region (2A) shows up to 24 channels as large icons. The small icon region (2B)
shows up to 12 channels as small icons. Channels may be arranged in any order.
Both large and small icons present the same operational information.
This display-only region shows the Transmit Indicator (the Zetron logo), Common
Control Type, CIC Position Interface, Clock, Time Sync Source, Alarms, all Mute
Timer, and various system messages.
These buttons are used to swap between the six possible channel setup displays.
This contains the menu buttons for the system, such as Group Select, Group
Transmit, Miscellaneous, Auxiliary I/O, and others.
This contains the primary channel control buttons. The buttons may be single- or
dual-function control. These commands are always displayed.
This displays various text messages for specific menu operations. This region also
shows Paging and Subscriber entries.
When one of the System Menus (Region 5) is active, the secondary channel control
functions are overlaid with the menu buttons applicable to that system menu.
