SELECTING OFFSET DIRECTION
This function sets the transmit frequency either
higher (+) or lower (-) than the receive frequency by a
fixed amount.

Press [BAND SEL] to select your desired band.
Press [SHIFT].
+ The default is "simplex" (no offset).
+ Each press of [SHIFT] changes the offset as
follows:

If the offset transmit frequency falls outside the transmit
band, transmit is inhibited until the transmit frequency is
brought within the band limits by one or more of the
following methods:

Move the receive frequency further inside the band.
Reverse the offset direction.
