Preparing the Device for Mounting
Before mounting the device on the MV overhead line, proceed as follows:

Unpack the device carefully; do not use force. Open the USB cover located on the transperant cover of
the product.➊

Locate the battery DIP switch under the USB cover. By default, the battery DIP switch is in the OFF
position when the device is shipped from the factory. ➋

Put the battery DIP switch in ON position using a flat screwdriver (Manufacturer: Taparia 933 or equiva-
lent).➌
•
Configure the device by connecting the device to a laptop computer using a USB Type C cable and
perform the device configuration using SICAM FSI Configurator. For more information, refer to
Configuration, Page

Close the USB cover. Ensure the USB cover is securely closed and properly sealed by exercising due
caution during the closing process.➍
