5-2. Using the interior lights
"OFF"
The personal/interior lights can be
individually turned on or off.
"DOOR"
The personal/interior lights come
on when a door is opened. They
turn off when the doors are closed.
ON
The personal/interior lights cannot
be individually turned off.

The lights turn on/off according to
the opening/closing of the doors.
The rear interior light turn on/off
together the front interior light.
Cargo lamp main switch

Automatic transmission vehicles:
While the shift lever is in P or R, the
cargo lamp, bed lamp and trailer
hitch light turn on when the door or
tailgate are opened and off when
the door and tailgate are closed.
While the shift lever is in D or N, the
cargo lamp and bed lamp turn on
when the door is opened and off
when the door is closed.
Manual transmission vehicles:
While the shift lever is in N with the
parking brake on or R, the cargo
lamp, bed lamp and trailer hitch
light turn on when the door or tail-
gate are opened and off when the
door and tailgate are closed.
While the shift lever is in N with the
parking brake off or shift lever is in
1,2,3,4,5,6, the cargo lamp and bed
lamp turn on when the door is
opened and off when the door is
closed.
