Basic Operational Check
This procedure can be used to establish proper functioning of the system, or to
identify specific areas in which there is a problem.
Step 1. Disconnect the S9165A from the RRH, and Connect a loopback cable
between RRH IF Out and RRH IF In.
Step 2. Disconnect the cable from IF Out to the Rx IF input of the IBU, and measure at
the IF Out port using a spectrum analyzer or signal analyzer (to verify that the
Tx IF output from the IBU is being returned).
Step 3. Measure at the LO 2 Out port using a spectrum analyzer or signal analyzer (to
verify that the Rx LO output signal is being generated).
Step 4. Measure at the 4.8 GHz Out port using a spectrum analyzer or signal analyzer
(to verify that the reference signal is being generated).
Step 5. Measure at the LO 1 Out port using a spectrum analyzer or signal analyzer (to
verify that the Tx LO output signal is being generated.)

Make a note of any frequencies and levels measured during this procedure, so
that this information can be shared with Keysight Support if necessary.
