Single-channel connections

The illustration below shows only the connections for Channel 1. (Most of these
connections would have to be duplicated for each channel in a
multiple-channel system.) This illustration includes part numbers for the
interconnect cables.

As illustrated above, each channel of the S9165A furnishes three reference
frequencies to a remote radio head, which are needed for upconversion and
downconversion. The transmitted frequency from the IBU is upconverted to the
range of the DUT. The received frequency from the DUT is downconverted to
the range of the IBU.
In the illustration above (for a single-channel system), the S9165A has ten
connections to other devices: four to the IBU, and six to the RRH (by way of the
RF cable bundle).
Getting Started Guide
The USB connection between the S9165A and the RRH is not "plug-and-play". It
should be connected before the S9165A is powered up. If it is disconnected
during use, the S9165A will have to be rebooted after the connection is
re-established.
