How to Fade in and Fade out
Picture and Sound
B® Using the Fade-in and Fade-out Functions
The fading in @ and fading out @ of picture and sound
can easily be performed with a single button.
Fade-in
At the beginning of a video film, etc. fading in is often
used. For example, after recording the title, starting the
first scene with the Fade-in Function is very effective.
1 While in the Recording Pause Mode, keep
pressing the [FADE] Button.
@The picture in the Viewfinder disappears
gradually. When it has disappeared completely:
2 While still keeping the [FADE] Button
pressed, press the Start/Stop Button to
start recording.
3 After approx. 3 seconds, release the
[FADE] Button, and the picture gradually
reappears in the Viewfinder.
Fade-out
Fading out is used to create a soft ending or (together
with fade-in) for a soft transition from one scene to the
next.
I During recording, press the [FADE] Button
at the point where you want to fade out.
Z After the picture in the Viewfinder has
completely disappeared, press the Start/
Stop Button to stop recording.
#The Movie Camera is now in the Recording Pause
Mode.
3 Release the [FADE] Button.

@ Utilisation des fondus d'entrée et de sortie
Sur simple pression d'une touche, i! est possible
d'effectuer des fondus d'entrée @ et des fondus de
sortie @.
Fondu d'entrée
Au début d'une réalisation, etc, il est courant d'utiliser un
fondu d'entrée. Par exemple, aprés présentation du titre,
il est courant de commencer la premiére scéne avec un
fondu d'entrée.
1 En mode pause, maintenir une pression
sur la touche [FADE].
@L'image affichée disparait graduellement.
Lorsqu'elle a complétement disparu:
2 Tout en maintenant la touche [FADE]
enfoncée, appuyer sur la touche de
marche/arrét pour débuter
Penregistrement.
3 Aprés environ 3 secondes, relacher la
touche [FADE]; l'image réapparait
gradueliement.
Fondu de sortie
Le fondu de sortie est utilisé pour créer une fin en
douceur ou (de pair avec un fondu d'entrée) pour
marquer fa transition entre deux séquences.
1 Pendant I''enregistrement, appuyer sur la
touche [FADE] a l'endroit ot un fondu doit
étre inséré.
Z Aprés que |'image ait completement
disparu, appuyer sur la touche de
marche/arrét pour mettre fin a
'enregistrement.
eLe caméscope est maintenant en mode pause.
3 Relacher la touche [FADE].
