[5] How to Search for the Beginning of a
Recorded Scene (Index ID Search)
(Only possible with the infrared Remote)
Before operating this function with the Infrared Remote,
turn the Movie Camera on and then press the [VCR/
CAMERA] Button, so that the "VCR" Indication Lamp
lights.
H To Search in Forward Direction
Press the [PPI] Button @} repeatedly.
M@ To Search in Reverse Direction
Press the (}¢4] Button @ repeatedly.
Notes:
eif you press the [PPI] or [dq] Button three times, for
example, "S3" is displayed in the Viewfinder and the
tape is fast-forwarded or rewound to the beginning of
the third scene, and playback then starts from that
point.
|f the length of a scene is less than 7 minute, the Index
Search may not work correctly.
®Pressing the [Pp] or the [Kd] Button for more than
2 seconds activates the Intro Search Function and the
beginning of each scene (or photo shot) is played back
for a few seconds one after another. (To cancel the
Intro Search Function, press the [>] Button or the (@]
Button.)

Avant d'activer cette fonction avec la télécommande,
établir le contact sut le caméscope, puis appuyer sur la
touche [VCR/CAMERA] de maniére que le témoin "VCR"
s'allume.
@ Recherche avant
Appuyer a répétition sur la touche (P>P>4] @.
@ Recherche arriére
Appuyer a répétition sur la touche [44] @.
Nota:
®Par exemple, si la touche [PP] ou [Ke] est pressée a
trois reprises, l'indication "S3" s'affiche et la bande est
avancée ou rebobinée jusqu'au début de la troisieme
scéne, puis la lecture s'amorce.
eSi une séquence donnée dure moins d'une seconde, la
recherche indexée pourrait ne pas fonctionner
correctement.
@Si la touche [PPI] ou [Kd] est maintenue enfoncée
plus de 2 secondes, la fonction de recherche de début
de séquence est activée et les débuts de chaque
séquence (ou image fixe) apparait pendant quelques
secondes les uns aprés les autres. (Pour désactiver
cette fonction, appuyer sur la touche [>] ou [].)
