Connect PLC (Hard Wired
Interface Version)
A PLC can control and monitor all items shown in the
Customer Digital Inputs and Outputs shown on the
Diagnostics screen. See Appendix A - ADM, page 103.
When the PLC has control of the system:
Functionality is restricted from the ADM
Automatic crossover is disabled. Rely on the PLC
and machine state indicators to know when to
cross over using the I/O.

NOTE: All outputs are normally open when power is off.
For error (alarm) output, the contacts close when an
alarm occurs. For all others, contacts close.
NOTE: The TOF system ships with two screw terminal
connectors that plug into MZLP connectors H1 and H2.
Connectors are located in a bag on the inside of the
Electrical Enclosure. To replace the connectors, order
kit 24P176.
1. Turn Main Power Switch OFF.
2. Open the Electrical Enclosure door.
3. Route I/O cables through strain relief.
4. Remove power from the PLC.
5. Connect the PLC to connectors H1 and H2.
