1.
Use only an approved fuel container for refueling the engine.
2.
Store fuel out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location and away
from any sources of heat, such as flames, sparks, boilers, motors, etc.

Inspect container for fuel leaks. Replace any container that leaks.
4.
Refuel outdoors or in a well-ventilated area and immediately wipe up
spills. Fuel can damage paint and plastic.
5.
Always refuel on level surfaces.
6.
Let engine cool for at least two minutes before refueling.
7.
Clean the fuel area of dirt and debris. Do not allow dirt or water to
enter the fuel tank.
8.
Remove the fuel cap slowly to allow the pressure to equalize safely.
9.
Move the tool at least 10 ft from its fuel source before refueling.
10. Always ensure the fuel cap is tightened upon completion and before
any operation.
11. Never start the tool if any of the following occur:
11.1 Fuel has been spilled on the tool
11.2 Fuel has been spilled on your body or clothing
11.3 If the tool is leaking fuel
12. If the tool is not to be used for extended periods of time, fully empty
the tank and store fuel appropriately and safely.
NOTICE! Always ensure accurate measurement of 2-
stroke fuel. Even when mixing small amounts,
innaccuracies can drastically affect the mixture.
1.
Gasoline – Use 89 Octane or higher gasoline.
1.1 Avoid gasoline containing alcohol such as gasohol when possible.
Gasohol containing up to 10% Ethyl alcohol is acceptable if
necessary.
2.
Two-stroke oil – two-stroke engine oil must meet ISO-L-EGD
(ISO/CD 13738) and JASO FC standards.
