Never use a dull cutting accessory. A dull cutting accessory requires more force to use the tool, possibly causing the accessory to break.

    8708083 14 IN. METAL DRY CUT SAW V1.1 Kickback can be avoided by taking proper precautions: Maintain a firm grip on the material and position your body and arms to allow you to resist a kickback. Kickback can propel the material in the direction of the cutting accessory’s rotation.

    V1.1 14 IN. METAL DRY CUT SAW 8708083 Loosen the nut several turns (Fig. 1-2). Turn the bolt clockwise to lower the cut depth. Raise the depth by turning the bolt counterclockwise. Pull the arm down and check the blade’s depth.

    V1.1 14 IN. METAL DRY CUT SAW 8708083 4. Allow the motor to reach full speed. Slowly lower the saw blade and. ease the blade into the workpiece and increase pressure until the sparks subside. 5.1 Avoid banging or bumping the blade while cutting. This can shatter the blade and cause an injury.
  • Page 16 8708083 14 IN. METAL DRY CUT SAW V1.1 REPLACING BLADE WARNING! Always ensure that the saw is switch off and unplugged from the power supply before installing or removing a disc. Loosen and remove both the screws, then the removable cover (Fig. 6). Set both aside.

This can damage the blade, flanges and cable clam. OVERLOAD PROTECTION FUNCTION The internal overload protection mechanism will shut off the tool’s motor when the current draw exceeds 15 amps.
