Install Brake Drum - Hudson Eight 1930 Service & Operating Manual

Raise car. Remove hub cap. Remove wheel nut cotter pin. Remove axle nut. Remove wheel. Remove nuts
and bolts holding brake drum to wheel. Remove brake drum. REPLACE brake drum. Replace hub bolts and
nuts. Replace wheel. Replace wheel nut and cotter pin. Adjust brakes. Lower car
.
Remarks:

Brake drum must not run out of round more. than

Suggestions: Tighten rear wheel nut securely to prevent wheel click when starting. Be sure brake shoes and
drum are free from grease.
