NOTE: The capacity and model of the two disks should be the same for proper mirroring between the two disks.
CAUTION: If you change the setup related to Mirror, you must reboot the system.
If disk mirroring fails, you must restart the system before trying disk mirroring again.
When a disk mirroring failure is caused by a disk error, you must replace the disk with
a new one.
This function does not work properly if the connected hard disk has been already
used for mirroring in other DVR.
The number under the No. heading indicates the mirroring number.
Highlighting Internal HDD indicates the available disks for mirroring.
Highlighting Setup and pressing the
Highlighting Information indicates if the installed disk is being used for mirroring or Resync purposes. Select
information about mirroring to check the disk's model and serial number.
button allows you to configure detailed settings related to Mirror.
 Mirror: Click OK to start mirroring. Once you start mirroring (writing
data on the two disks at the same time between two disks), all existing
data on the two disks will be erased.
NOTE: Once you start mirroring, all existing data on the two disks will be
erased.
 Stop: Once mirroring starts, you can stop it by selecting Stop option.
 Resync: When a disk is replaced, data on the replaced disk will be
erased and data on the other disk will be copied to the replaced disk.
Highlighting Resync and clicking OK resynchronizes two disks. After
resynchronization is complete, disk mirroring (writing data on the two
disks at the same time) will start.
CAUTION: Do NOT remove the disk during resynchronization,
otherwise the disk may be damaged.
