NOTE: All system board spare part kits include replacement thermal material.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the access panel
3. Remove the fan
4. Remove the heat sink
5. Remove the drive cage
6. When replacing the system board, be sure the following components are removed from the defective
system board and installed on the replacement system board:
Memory modules

Expansion cards
●
Processor
●
WLAN module
●
Solid-state drive
●
Option port board
●
7. Disconnect all remaining cables connected to the system board, noting their location for reinstallation.
8. Remove the front I/O bracket by pushing the bottom away from the chassis, and then removing
the bracket.
