Use the IGMP > Router Port page to statically configure ports that are attached to
a multicast router/switch.
Usage Guidelines
Depending on network connections, IGMP snooping may not always be able to
locate the IGMP querier. Therefore, if the IGMP querier is a known multicast
router/switch connected over the network to port on the switch, the port (and a
specified VLAN) can be manually configured to join all the current multicast
groups supported by the attached router. This can ensure that multicast traffic is
passed to all the appropriate ports within the switch.
IGMP Snooping must be enabled on the switch before a multicast router port
can be configured.
